Question: Why do I have some tags that are not replaced?

Answer: Assuming that there are no typos in the tags, the most likely problem is a rich text template with some hidden html code in the tag. The solution is to delete the tag and re-type it. If you want to format the content of the tag, make sure that you select the entire tag, including the curly brackets.

Question: Why are some sections of the dialog box missing?

Answer: The dialog box shows sections based on the tags you have put in the Google Sheet™. The Email section is shown if there is a 'to' tag. The Doc section is shown if there is both a 'doc url' tag and a 'pdf name' tag. The Label section is shown if there is a 'label' tag. These are the mandatory tags for the different sections.

Question: How many rows can the spreadsheet have?

Answer: Mergery does not impose any limits, BUT Google Sheets™ will only allow a script to run for 30 minutes. Some actions are fairly quick (e.g. merging into a Gmail™ draft takes less than one second), but other actions are fairly slow (e.g merging into a Google Doc™ takes about 5 seconds). If you have a lot of data to process it may be necessary to use a 'select' tag and process the rows in batches.

If you need to merge thousands of rows of data, this is probably not the tool for you.

Question: Why is 'Search Drafts' not finding my draft template?

Answer: The most likely cause is that you have a lot of draft emails, and the draft you want is not in the most recent 100. The solution is to make a minor edit to your draft - that will make it the most recent draft.
